於不同的區塊種植成的葡萄 皆分別發酵以保持 每個區塊的 最佳之不同特性。每個區塊平均在表層上花費 18 天。然後，Honest Red Blend 在 35% 的新橡木中陳釀 15 個月。

The Federalist’s vineyards are located in Sonoma County, California. Owned and managed by the Terlato Family, they have positioned the winery to produce single vineyard and estate wines with a focus on Zinfandel.
The Federalist Honest Red Blend pays homage to one of the most highly regarded American President’s of all time, Abraham Lincoln.  Lincoln’s accomplishments are numerous, though he is probably best known for emancipating the slaves, preserving the union following the Civil War and sadly being assassinated while in office. 
Different blocks were fermented separately to preserve ideal characteristics of each. Each block spends an average of 18 days on the skins. Then, the Honest Red Blend is aged for 15 months in 35% new Oak.
